Buyer Protection Policy
OptraTrust provides buyer protection for eligible online purchases made with OptraTrust Protection enabled at checkout. When protection is added, OptraTrust may refund the buyer if the order is not delivered or is materially not as described, subject to the terms below.
This policy is designed to protect honest buyers and legitimate sellers. Abuse or fraud results in suspension.
1. Eligibility
Buyer Protection applies only if:
- OptraTrust Protection was selected at checkout
- The order was completed on an approved OptraTrust seller store
- The claim is submitted within the allowed time window
- The product category is eligible under OptraTrust rules
Orders without OptraTrust Protection are not covered.
2. What Is Covered
OptraTrust may approve a refund if one of the following occurs:
a) Order Not Delivered
- The buyer did not receive the product
- No valid proof of delivery is provided
b) Product Not as Described
- The product delivered is materially different from what was advertised
- This includes wrong item, fake product, or missing essential components
3. What Is Not Covered
- Change of mind or buyer preference
- Size, color, or style dissatisfaction
- Delays within the seller’s stated delivery window
- Damage caused after delivery
- Digital products or services
- High-risk or restricted product categories
- Claims without sufficient evidence
4. Claim Process
To file a claim, the buyer must:
- Submit a claim through the OptraTrust claim form
- Provide clear evidence, which may include photos/videos, tracking details, and communication with the seller
The seller will be notified and given an opportunity to respond. OptraTrust reviews all available evidence before making a decision.
5. Claim Review & Decision
- OptraTrust reviews claims fairly and independently
- Decisions are based on evidence, order data, and seller response
- Additional information may be requested
OptraTrust’s decision is final.
6. Refunds
- If a claim is approved, OptraTrust issues a refund to the buyer
- Refunds may cover the full order amount or a partial amount, depending on the case
- Refund timing depends on the payment method used
If a claim is rejected, no refund is issued.
7. Abuse & Fraud
OptraTrust actively monitors abuse. This includes repeated false claims, evidence manipulation, and attempted refund abuse.
Accounts found abusing the system may be permanently suspended without notice.
8. Seller Responsibility
Sellers using OptraTrust agree to:
- Provide accurate product descriptions
- Ship orders as promised
- Respond to claims within the required timeframe
Failure to meet these standards may result in higher risk fees, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from OptraTrust.
9. Policy Updates
OptraTrust may update this policy as the platform evolves. The latest version will always be available on the OptraTrust website.
